Revelation of John 19

The Fourfold Hallelujah

1 After these things I heard something like a aloud voice of a great multitude in heaven, saying,

bHallelujah! cSalvation, dglory, and power belong to our God,
2 ebecause His fjudgments are gtrue and righteous; for He has judged the hgreat prostitute who was corrupting the earth with her sexual immorality, and He has iavenged the blood of His bond-servants
Lit from her hand
on her.”
3And a second time they said, “ kHallelujah! lHer smoke rises forever and ever.” 4And the mtwenty-four elders and the nfour living creatures ofell down and worshiped God who sits on the throne, saying, “ pAmen. qHallelujah!” 5And a voice came from the throne, saying,

rGive praise to our God, all you His bond-servants, syou who fear Him, the small and the great.”
6Then I heard something like tthe voice of a great multitude and like uthe sound of many waters, and like the vsound of mighty peals of thunder, saying,

wHallelujah! For the xLord our God, the Almighty, reigns.

8It was given to her to clothe herself in acfine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen is the adrighteous acts of the

saints.

9 Then afhe *said to me, “ agWrite: ‘ ahBlessed are those who are invited to the wedding feast of the Lamb.’” And he *said to me, “ aiThese are the true words of God.” 10Then ajI fell at his feet to worship him. akBut he *said to me, “
Lit See that you do not
Do not do that; I am a amfellow servant of yours and your brothers and sisters who anhold the testimony of Jesus; worship God! For the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy.”

The Coming of Christ

11 And I saw aoheaven opened, and behold, a apwhite horse, and He who sat on it is called aqFaithful and True, and in arrighteousness He judges and wages war. 12His aseyes are a flame of fire, and on His head are many atcrowns; and He has a auname written on Him which no one knows except Himself. 13He is clothed with a avrobe dipped in blood, and His name is called awThe Word of God. 14And the armies which are in heaven, clothed in axfine linen, aywhite and clean, were following Him on white horses. 15 azFrom His mouth comes a sharp sword, so that bawith it He may strike down the nations, and He will

19 And I saw bothe beast and bpthe kings of the earth and their armies, assembled to make war against Him who bqsat on the horse, and against His army.
